This makes me sad for the world.

Today, I was reminded that we cannot allow ourselves to be morally corrupted by society norms. We are constantly bombarded with images of sex, drugs and violence and yet we allow ourselves to be desensitized by these images.  The edgier or racier it gets, the more the moral boundaries are pushed to the point where we complacently accept this as part of our culture. Look at how things have changed in the last 30 years. Our youth is growing up in a world where they perceive bullying (in schools and on the internet) is okay, where affairs are not a big deal, image and money is everything and that Christianity is just another bullshit religion that brainwashes people into taking your money. It only terrifies me to think what this world is going to look like in the next 30 years. Our society thinks we are becoming more liberal and free, but we are only heading towards death and destruction.

" So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.
- Colossians 2:6-8

James 4:13-17

1. The future is uncertain
- You go to this city and that city and you make money, but where is Jesus? You have to bring Jesus into every aspect of your life
- Many people believe in God, but they act as if He doesn't exist
- You have to live out your faith everyday

2. Life is fragile
- The moment you are born, you are destined to die. Our life is a mist, it appears and then it is gone

3. We must live by faith
- Don't number your days, number your years
- Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to meet a tomato in your fruit salad
- You cannot be dependent on yourself, you must be dependent on Lord Jesus
- Jesus said, my food is to do the will of the Lord
- Its not what you do for God, it's what God is willing to do through you

4. Our obedience must be fervent
- All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing
- Wouldn't it be wonderful if you found out you had a month to live, you will not have anything to change
- What should you do? Live passionately, love completely, learn humbly, leave boldly
- Life is short. Death is sure. Sin is the curse. Christ is the cure
- Jesus is the answer to life's problems
- It's never to late to be what you might have been
- Though no one can go back to make a brand new start, anyone can start now and make a brand new ending
- Treat people as if this will be the last time you will see them
- Make sure everything is right with people around you. People matter more than things

Ephesians 6

1. Live truthfully
- When enemies are attacking you, go back to what you know: Jesus loves you

2. Live righteously
- In Christ, we become the righteousness of God

3. Live peacefully
- You can have peace with God trough Jesus Christ

4. Live dependently
- We must stand together and fight together against our one common enemy

5. Live confidently
- The enemy plays head games, planting thoughts of fear and helplessness. But when we take our thoughts and bring it to Jesus, there is power

6. Live biblically
- Words of God hits like a double-edged sword, it pierces the heart

7. Live prayerfully
- Don't give Jesus a small part of your life, give it all

While watching Planet Earth, a segment about the Pika came up. These little mammals are part of the rabbit family. Is this where the idea for Pikachu came from?!
