Thanks friends.

Here's an old one written by me.

Turn My Back

If everything is wrong
What's the point of life?
When everything is falling apart
All I do is cry

In the dark I hide
Afraid of what's to come
If everything I do is wrong
It's better if I'm gone

Cause I don't care
About what you do
Why do you torture me?

CHORUS
Goodbye goodbye
I'm never going back to this lie
Goodbye goodbye
Goodbye this time
I'll turn my back and run

Oh... I don't care

It wasn't meant to be this way
We're neither wrong or right
All it takes is time away
All it takes is time

Oh... I don't care (x2)
All it takes is time

Cos I don't care
About what you do
Why do you torture me?
I don't care
Why are you here?
Why are you hurting me?
I don't care
About you
Why are you hurting me?
I am your family

CHORUS

This is a song I wrote and I will tell you how it came about.

I was reading Adele's Wikipedia page and there was a review that said her music was "a perfect backdrop to a lazy afternoon in a coffee shop." I texted Richard and suggested the name A Lazy Afternoon for his band - I loved it so much! It's the pure epitome of how I spent/would like to spend the rest of my days.

Here are the lyrics:

Take me to a coffee shop

Where we can play Monopoly Deal

You can order a latte

Or an espresso if you feel

We can talk for hours on end

About nothing, life and school

But when it comes down to it

I like you

CHORUS

I don't like coffee

But I sure like you

Yes I do

I don't like coffee

But I sure like you

These cafes here aren't so great

Why are there green signs on every block?

I don't want frappalakachinos

I don't know what I want

But I want it to rock

I will open a cafe

And I will name it after a tree

And you can come and play

A game with me

CHORUS

I can spend all day

In this cafe

On a lazy afternoon

We can work but let's be serious

One more game and I can "sly deal" you

Ok no more games, let's study

Oh no I have to go

So again tomorrow?

Stars free concert at Yonge&Dundas Square

Listening to Stars really brought back the old times, didn't it? Especially when they played Calendar Girl

Next day, Stars "secret show" at Edward Day Gallery - you had to scavenger for QR codes around the city to find clues about the whereabouts!

Torquil and Amy - they are ELECTRIC live

After the show, me and my brother built his luxurious crib

Here is a child passed out on my bed

Priscilla took me on a fun excursion strawberry picking in Milton

Priscilla's friends picking in all the wrong spots! Muaha

My strategy: find big bushes, plop down and scavenger

Downside: strawberry butt that can also pass for period stains. TMI? yes.

The girl who "went to town" on the strawberries and thought her basket was going to cost $40!

The acideally artsy picture of my big fat red strawberries

Fun!

I adore this girl

Downtown chill day with Seth (temporarily back from Switzerland) and Vanoo. We wandered... everywhere! This is in Kensington

That's me & David biking downtown Toronto

After 3 hours (with breaks) we reached downtown! At this point (approaching Lakeshore) I was okay...

Yes we should've taken a pic with our bikes to prove it

Richard. At this point (approaching Woodbine) I WAS DYING

Destination: Ashbridges Bay... accomplished. Then we played vball

Eugene & Sharon joined us and we walked around Chinatown and harborfront until 1AM

Happy Canada Day! Red + white colours

Priscilla's fun fun fun bday bbq at Kelly's house... perfect view of Mississauga City hall fireworks
