A Lazy Afternoon (In A Coffee Shop)

This is a song I wrote and I will tell you how it came about.


I was reading Adele's Wikipedia page and there was a review that said her music was "a perfect backdrop to a lazy afternoon in a coffee shop." I texted Richard and suggested the name A Lazy Afternoon for his band - I loved it so much! It's the pure epitome of how I spent/would like to spend the rest of my days.




Here are the lyrics:

Stars free concert at Yonge&Dundas Square


Listening to Stars really brought back the old times, didn't it? Especially when they played Calendar Girl


Next day, Stars "secret show" at Edward Day Gallery - you had to scavenger for QR codes around the city to find clues about the whereabouts!


Torquil and Amy - they are ELECTRIC live


After the show, me and my brother built his luxurious crib

My strategy: find big bushes, plop down and scavenger


Downside: strawberry butt that can also pass for period stains. TMI? yes.


The girl who "went to town" on the strawberries and thought her basket was going to cost $40!

Downtown chill day with Seth (temporarily back from Switzerland) and Vanoo. We wandered... everywhere! This is in Kensington

After 3 hours (with breaks) we reached downtown! At this point (approaching Lakeshore) I was okay...

Destination: Ashbridges Bay... accomplished. Then we played vball


Eugene & Sharon joined us and we walked around Chinatown and harborfront until 1AM
