i found this ad in the newspaper for a tempting looking sales job. i checked the website out online and it looked a little sketch but i applied anyway, and i have an opportunity to work there. but now i'm afraid this is going to turn out to be some telemarketing or sleazy sales position where i'm going to have to go door-to-door selling miscellaneous houseware items. the pay sounds very tempting and they say it's not comission-based, but it sounds pretty sketchy how they're gearing these sort of jobs towards students. the website sounds like they're trying too hard to convince you to work there - i'm scared. nevertheless, i've applied too many non-minimum wage jobs and i haven't heard a thing from them so whatever the outcome, if the position is available to me, i think i'm going to take it.
until someone at eqao calls me.

some woman named her daughter "Shithead" (pronounced Shuh-teed), and some dude named his sixth son "Winner" and his seventh son "Loser." i bet you are interested in finding out how their lives turned out (Winner has an extensive criminal record, Loser's a seargent for the New York Police Department).
whew, what a looooong ass day but i'm incredibly glad it's over and i can now reasonably relax. last night after managerial, instead of feeling at ease, i was feeling absolute stressed because of all the things i still had to do (packing, cleaning, administrative school stuff) within a very short amount of time and i felt so disorganized and ready to snap off someone's head. after we went to mortys for 50 cent wings (YUM) and got home around 12:30 and started packing from 1 to 5AM, slept until 10 and did hardcore cleaning until my parents and my brother came. we took out like 10 bags of accumulated garbage. oh man, moving that furniture...especially the big ass bed - let's not do that ever again. it was kind of fun because we were all relatively moving out at the same time. the best feeling was driving home; i felt relieved that everything was done. now that those problems are out of the way... let's try getting my ass a job so that i can spend my first paycheque on a DS lite and my second one on a new bike.
oh my god, i'm such an idiot. i used a pen to scratch my back without looking, and turns out the cap was off.
anyway, i am so freakin happy because i spent all morning worrying about how i'm going to transport my crap on such late notice. i was on the phone with my brother trying to find uhaul rates and alternatives (uhaul is such a friggn ripoff, GO DIE uHELL!) and in the end, turns out that my dad has some hookups with a van so we're all set to go for tomorrow.
now to concentrate on priorities.
DIE ACCOUNTING!!!
unfortunately, only cerello students understand this. unfortunately.
*edit.
OMFG OMFG we got snow patrol tickets... FLOOR!!! *screams in excitement*
i like to think that we're still children, and that although we live on our own, we're still guided by our parents. when i feel alone, i always take comfort in knowing that there's a home filled with people i can return to. as a 19 year old, i couldn't start a new life on my own in a foreign place with an instable career, and make nice with acquaintances who i'd never trust enough to consider as friends. you couldn't pay me any amount of money or give me any amount of rewards to leave my home and my family behind for so long - but i guess i'm not everyone.
today became an unexpected househunting day where we checked out several places but none of them were quite right. most didn't fall into our budget (they were 460+ PLUS utilities) and the perfect one only had one bathroom. four girls, one bathroom - MAYBE. it was a long, hot, sweaty afternoon, capped with bubbletease and a fun visit to linda's house, but i really hope we can find a good place at such late notice.
If you wanted me to
I could stand by you forever
And neither of us will ever be alone
If I had the choice
I would call you everyday
And we would talk for hours about nothing
But we are just players in a game
Where we choose how we feel
And the objective is only to win
At a cost
But we are just actors in a play
So we show no real emotion
Because we wear egos on our sleeves
Instead hearts
If you were more open
I could be your best friend
And we can laugh like we used to
If you loved me
Then stop me from walking away
And I would spend my life with you
But we separate ourselves with distance
To protect ourselves from weakness
With months our separate ways, I stop
Missing you
But we are just players in a game
Where we are both the losers
And nothing will ever change
Game over
note: this is not about who you think it is about
p.s.
i want one SO BADLY! (it hurts)
after the stats exam today, ira and lilian tricked me by inviting me to a "sushi dinner" and then changing plans last minute, telling me about this 'new place' that's really inexpensive that even ira would be willing to pay for me. so we got on the bus and got off two stops later where they sneakily dragged me to justin's house because he made us dinner.
i wish i could have brought my camera, but it was a good dinner. lilian and ira then watched some depressing korean dramas while justin showed me his new DS Lite and reaffirmed my devouring want for one. so for about six hours straight, i played DS Lite... best spent hours of my life.
about the jm concert, it was good but not as good as his previous ones, mainly because of his newfound attraction for an older, more mature audience that is almost as rowdy as howard lau. i am glad that there are no annoying screaming pre-teens, but without those girls, the audience is lifeless and makes the overall experience less enjoyable. i, on the other hand, did not hold back in delivering my teenage-girl cheering and singing and dancing, which made old man winter there next beside me start dancing and singing as well. i am proud of my work, and also a little creeped out. it was the dancing that threw me off.

maybe they should find a cure for bereavement so that writers won't have to keep thinking of new ways to bring denny back without actually, bringing him, back.
i am functioning on very little sleep and am making little sense and no effort to converse. is it too boring to say that i currently have no problem with the world as it is and those who inhabit it?
who stayed up all night at the science building for some reason, coming home at 7:15AM to wake me up for my 9AM exam. who brought me hot chocolate and a sausage muffin from timmies, and made sure i would not fall back asleep.
my success in OB is contingent to your thoughtful kindness. yes, i used contingent, as you can see, i'm still in OB mode which means i should take a nap to wipe out all that crap from my head to focus on tomorrow's exam.
so you all must suffer along with me.
so i might as well admit it now to avoid future embarassment: i am an idiot.
i stayed up all day/all night studying for money & banking exam, only to end up sleeping through my alarm clock and missing it altogether. 40%, folks. i disgrace myself, i know.
on the brighter side,
(insert something happy about your life here)

telefrancais FANTASTIQUE!
my university academic record seriously embarasses me and makes me look like this failing idiot that i know deep down inside, i really am not. damn this catch-22 where i can't get a job without a good education and i can't have a good education without a job.
i do not want to return to spherion this year. literally scanning eqao tests in an unconditioned factory from 7am to 4pm five days a week (sometimes more) for eight bucks an hour is not as flattering as it sounds. also, no more food services and retail (aka no more minimum wage jobs) because i honestly don't believe there's anything left for me to learn and because i am a career-oriented person who deserves a challenging job and some dough so i can buy myself a new bicycle and perhaps a DS lite if it decides to go on sale on day.
so to sum up my day, i've been job searching when i should be studying for my exam.
at least i'm not on youtube or facebook.
i was doing laundry and this cute tall white guy came in, and i felt completely out of place and awkward. he tried talking to me and i just said a few things that totally cut off any potential of future conversation. i don't understand how i can be so easily intimidated by white people, but feel so impartial towards asians or browns. i guess that's one of the reasons why i'm so deathly afraid of arabguy and forced to admire him from afar like a little creepy stalker girl. don't judge me!

ROAD TRIP TO NEW YORK, ANYONE?!?!?!
i think my pet peeve is people sending me youtube links of the most randomnest unfunniest things in the world. it is us who fuels these uncreative idiots who broadcast themselves or their lack of talents over youtube, by ceaselessly watching and spreading the word via "hey watch this!" and then i watch a ten second clip of a dog or a cat sprawled across a piano pressing keys at random and then calling it 'musical talent.' brainless. but somehow, these videos are watched by thousands and commented by what i can only imagine as little children who post, "don't read this or you'll die" chain comments or bitch endlessly about their irrelevant opinions that somehow go astray and don't even pertain to the video in question anymore.
...
i wish i was on youtube.
isn't it always the case that the ones who are least deserving, always wins the prize? and now that they won the prize, do they even want it anymore?
so congratulations, you beat me, but in all fairness, i never really tried. you just got there first before i realized i even wanted to go there. so now you have to find a way to get rid of him but please don't come crying to me about the mess you got yourself into, it's not my problem.
you just met, how complicated can this "relationship" get already?
