I will NEVER get to experience St. Jacob's Farmer's Market, but at least I get to say goodbye to some of my favourite people of Waterloo yesterday.

So the day started with me and James when I picked him up at Square One early in the morning. We went to Waterloo Mennonite Brethren Church and the service was a very emotional one, dealing with the passing of a member of church who went to Haiti on a missionary trip. Very sad =( but just makes you appreciate life so much more.

We picked up Mike & Jacey. You can't really tell from this photo, but this is Mike getting a beating.

Where did we go for lunch? Can you guess???

Oh yeahhh... CHINA LEGEND.

My favourite dishes! Somehow we managed to order all beef and no veggie dishes but oh so very delicious nevertheless. Ira, I hope you're reading this: THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE MISSING.

We hung out at Jacey's and played the funnest game ever: BAND HERO. The songs are so awesome to sing, who knew I could be rocking out to Taylor Swift? We then watched some hilariously crazy-ass weird movies that horrified me and poor James: Bad Biology and Teeth.

In Bad Biology, a boy's penis escaped from his body and started inserting itself into conveniently naked women.
Teeth is about a girl who has teeth in her vajayjay.

We met Lilian and Jackie at Morty's for drinks and I FINALLY gave her my XMAS present!

All of us at Morty's NOT on a wing night. At least there was half price on burgers with fries (it was only $3.99 what a freakin steal). My beer was more expensive than my meal

We hung out after at their place for a bit before going back to Jacey's and Mike's. We all talked for a while and they coaxed me into sleeping over because I was exhausted as heck. Me and James woke up at 7:30AM and headed back home this morning.

Parkway Honda is Mississauga Honda's sister as they are both owned by the same person. It's right near James's place so we just HAD to check it out (I also wanted to see my friend). And um hello, it's gorgeous inside. They have a cafe, everyone is super friendly and no one looks busy or stressed at all!!!

Arriving at James's place and showing off our McDees breakfast that James so kindly treated me to =)

James's Bachelor Pad. We didn't have much time but I just HAD to jam with James just once before I left this country. SO FUN. After I dropped him off, I headed to the Korean Embassy to get my crap stamped so that's all taken care of and I got home around 1PM only to work at 4PM. What a great end to my fantastic weekend!

Half of My Heart?

oh god...........haha last minute "jam" session with James, needs some practice thats for sure!!!!! this was our secondish take

Lucky?

yes bad harmonizing on my part but this was our FIRST FIRST take and as you can tell i'm all bundled up all ready to go out the door LOL

Yesterday, I went through the arduous task of teaching my dad to use e-mail since he wanted to keep in contact with me. It's not going to be very useful given he spelt "how are you" as "hou." So I downloaded skype for him instead which is 100x much easier, I just need to get him a new webcam since stupidass Vista doesn't support my oldschool webcam (honestly guys, go for Mac).

If you guys want to hang out, I am honestly free almost everyday except when I'm working. Here, if this helps you:
Monday - work from 5PM to 8PM
Tuesday to Thursday - free after 8PM
Friday - free after 6PM
Saturday - free after 4PM
Sunday - church @ 1pm

Unfortunately, I AM working until the end of the month (Jan 30th is my last day) so I will have like a day into February where I am free free. I will try packing up all my shit ahead of time.

Things I want to do this month:
  • Go skating with Vanessa
  • Visit Waterloo people and visit St. Jacob's Farmer's Market for the first time (probably on a Sunday -> you want to come with me, James? We can go to your church in the morning!)
  • Winterlicious (Jan 30)
  • Work on my secret project
  • See friends who want to see me
Okay I can't really think of anything else I need to do, but I'll add to the list if anything comes up.

As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light of meaning in the darkness of mere being.

i am adding two more resolutions to my list:
  • complain less
  • be a nicer person

NO MORE SCHOOL EVER, EVER AGAIN

KOREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I had my bagel.

No NYE^2 this year but you got your POAB and perhaps... looking forward to possibly hosting again in two years time.

New Year's Eve was comfortably spent at Vbear's place with hotpot and games. New Year's day was an adventure to Blue Mountain for Marly's second attempt at "snowboarding." I say adventure because we were on our last bar of gas and I had to keep driving onward in silent panic for several KMs looking for a frikkin gas station that was open. Anyways, I don't know how to snowboard and I ache all over but I've made significant improvement from two years ago when the only thing I learned to do was fall on my head. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

2009 was an amazing year... let's go back shall we?
  • Laurier times... Jackie's BBQs, birthdays, karaokes, all-you-can-eat sushi buffets, Morty's wing nights EVERY Monday and Thursdays... what a life.
  • Hello and goodbye to my favourite, most addicting game ever, Blockles. RIP.
  • Sai aka Big Mama - you were the worst person possible to live with but without you, me Ira and Becky wouldn't have such hilarious and horrifying roommate stories to tell from 267 Hazel
  • June 5 - GRADUATION. Who knew I would make it?
  • Meeting Michael Mahonen, GUS from my fave childhood TV Show Road to Avonlea
  • POA Boat
  • Europe trip - I've gone to Ireland, my life is fulfilled. I have to go back to see the Westlife cliff still
  • Sept 15, 2009 - you, me, TIFF, Nuit Blanche, XMAS party, Niagara Falls, etc. I am grateful
  • Mississauga Honda - I hate it but I'll miss it. Thank you for taking off the SRS light that's been on my dashboard for at least 3 years
  • Trying new/different things: Rock climbing, Blue Jay's game. Planting trees and going fly fishing (honestly my FAVOURITE DAY of 2009). FINALLY going to D&B, Sound of Music Musical, watching a meteor shower, going to U.S. side of Niagara Falls, taking kids out for Halloween.
Best year spent exactly the way I like it, and the Lord made it all happen for me and answered my prayers every single time. If I didn't have faith before, I am certainly alive in faith now

Now forget the past and LOOK FORWARD LOOK FORWARD LOOK FORWARD.
12Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:12-14
