Good night.

Please no more all nighters

It's 6:05 PM, and I just woke up.

It was me, Shannon, Jackie and Wayne working on our Wendy's case report for management accounting. Mike dropped by our table and we forced him to stay with us, because he was there with our group for our first report and we did well on our first report (even though we pulled an all nighter for that as well) so we wanted to control all of our outside variables.

Working on our case made us feel hungry so we actually hit up Wendy's and ate it while working on it at SBE atrium. It was a really fun night. All five of us played Family Feud for a solid hour, and I managed to fail fast money with 199 points. 199! What do you find beside a cash register? People! It's a solid answer.

I'm really glad because I actually like this group and we have a solid report that I'm really proud of. Everyone stayed up together (even Shannon who wanted to sleep but we wouldn't let him go so he napped on three chairs again) and we got it done with NO issues whatsoever. Go team.

Everything is just a waste of time. No matter what I'm doing, I'm always thinking 'there must be a better way of spending my time than this.'  So when I do have the free time, I waste it by doing things I don't really enjoy because they don't involve any significant time commitment.

When you just feel behind on life, the worst possible thing is when people contribute to that. With you as your own worst enemy, you don't need other people to be wasting your time.

The minute we arrived, we got straight to the drinking!

Vanessa whipped out her magnificent coloured jello shooters. We tried sucking them up to no avail so we wound up eating them with spoons, LOL.

Richard blended these blue drinks and I could taste the tequila. I tried to shove the drink into other people's hands but no one would take it off me. Just thinking about it now makes me want to hurl - these drinks were absolute TORTURE. Sour and strong - it's what did me and Vanessa in.

Best buds!

Jeivelt, the crazy guy who opened the beer bottles with his mouth - INSANITY. Me, Chris and Richard

Everyone gathered in the living room playing Rock Band.

We were playing drinking games like dice and Kings, basically making up rules while we were playing. When you draw J, you can make up your own rule so I made Chris drink every time someone else drank. Then he drew a J as well and made me drink a shot of vodka every time he drank. This game did not last that long

Time for individual pics!

Me and my passed out lover. Actually, she wasn't passed out this time as much as I can remember but pictures from my photo album beg to differ. Surprisingly we had a lot of control - no more crazy "wasted" times

Denbo! Where was he the whole party?! Dennis was the funniest!!! So unusually quiet... I love it when he doesn't talk like a smart person. HAHAHAHAHA

Michael Lee, the DD and Rock Band champion. He was taking incriminating photos and videos of us the entire time, but I have some incriminating stuff on him if ever he should try to blackmail me.

Richard, the host slash bartender who did an amazing job with the party and served me that blue drink that almost killed me.

Everyone hanging outside in the cold just for funsies. By that point, I am pretty sure I was talking a lot and saying a lot of stupid things, like rhyming off basic arithmetic. I always wake up the next day with a lot of regrets... not because of what I do but because of the really pathetic things I say LOL.

I kept waking up at night and I dragged myself out of bed to drink some water at 6AM. I felt like the alcohol was right at my throat but I couldn't puke it out and it made me feel sick. I went back to bed and woke up at noon when Vanessa called me out for breakfast, and I was fine. This is me with Vanessa and Chris at Bobby's in Streetsville enjoying a nice and greasy breakfast after a crazy fun night =)

It's LAUUUUNNDDRRRY time. Not.

I've been trying to do laundry all day and some idiots left their clothes in the washing dryer forever! I've been up to check like 5 times, and I would move it but then second time around I saw a whole bunch of socks. So it means the inventory is moving, but the turnover rate is PRETTY DAMN SLOW.

And then Justin called me and he reminded me that I could just do my laundry when I go home tomorrow. D'oh! Yeah, I'm going to go do that lol - see you on the other side folks

I just finished the craziest, most hectic week of my life and all I can say is THANK GOODNESS! It's not over, but hopefully I can FINALLY go to sleep before 6AM. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Remember during Thanksgiving when I met a guy at the supermarket? Well he asked me for my number and I wouldn't give it to him but I told him my e-mail address instead. Knowing that he'd forget it by the time he got home, I wasn't worried, especially since I haven't heard from him.

Until today when I got this message.
I its tony i am hope you remember me

My parents called me from Vietnam this afternoon while I was super-cramming for my exam (but parents trump school). They're in Hanoi now staying with my Aunt. I'm glad they made it there okay because I can't stop thinking about where they are and what they're doing.

I went home Friday afternoon and spent the weekend with my parents before they left to Vietnam. We had lobster Saturday night, ribs Sunday night, and steak Monday night!

On Sunday, I made those Pillsburry Cinnabons for Ayla's birthday. They were making everyone hungry, so my brother went out and bought his own and made it because I wouldn't give him any.
I arrived at 5pm to help set up and wrap gifts. It was great seeing Ayla's family again, and meeting everyone else. Everyone was teasing me because of my lazy baking skills. I got to hang out with Angie and her new husband, and I saw Loveleen briefly before the surprise (she had to jet because of a wedding). Then Aisha brought Ayla back and she was seriously surprised.

It was great getting to talk to Ayla and Aisha and reminiscing about stupid old days. And I realized that Aisha still has my binder of drawings that she borrowed back in Grade 5, LOL. I got to see Prerna again after so long, but Arlene wasn't there yet because she was in Montreal.

Her mom was awesome, making all the food and basically exhausting herself to make her surprise party a great one.
From Ayla's B-Day & Parents Leaving Weekend

Happy Birthday Ayla!!!

I had to leave early because I had to do my CAM#2 which was due at 10AM, so I stayed up all night to do it (with a 1hr nap to reenergize myself). I talked to my parents for a bit and then slept until 3PM. The entire family came over and we had dinner before heading off to the airport while Marcia took the kids home.

We got there ahead of everyone so we didn't have to wait in line for a long time. By the time we were done checking in, it was 10PM and then my parents went into the boarding area. We said goodbye and then I drove back to Waterloo.

Firstly,
NEW YEAR'S EVE SQUARED is back on!
Go on facebook and RSVP right now.

So last night I trekked to Mike's house to hang out and little did I know that he lives in the middle of nowhere far, far away. Luckily, Howard was in town at just the right time to give me a ride home and saved me from a long walk in the cold. Thanks!

I woke up this morning with the plan to go to Hamilton because I needed to pick up my credit report at a bureau located there. Missed the 12:30 bus so had to wait til 2:30. I finally arrive at 4 and the woman at the bureau tells me that the server is down (what's with servers being down lately? Stupid WebCt) so she can't print out my report or show me it. WTF. I just spent $30 and wasted my whole day travelling for nothing. So I'm like... I'll wait until closing until the servers are up. The server was still down, but fortunately, they could show me my report so at least I have that.

I walked 30 minutes to get to McMaster campus, and waited at the Health Sciences Library until Priscilla got off class.

Priscilla Wong is too awesome. On route to her residence, she gave me a mini tour of her campus and we bumped into Crystal. Then, she took me to Mary Keyes for dinner - which is the best! I had to leave promptly at 8 to catch the last bus and then headed back to Kitchener/Waterloo. Thank you so much Priscilla for everything =)

I've been having a rough weekend. Let's just say on Friday, I went to bed at 10PM and would not wake up for another 12 hours just because I simply did not want to live my life.

Thursday night, we went out and met some new people. I ended up in an apartment admiring their Hello Kitty toaster saying, "Hey, I had a toaster exactly like that..." Then I stopped, paused and was like, "Do you live with a girl named Christine?" They all point to a door with the name 'Christine' on it with a big poster plastered on it of a tiger roaring.

Hi Christine! I know where you live.

Last night, me and Justina went to watch Zack and Miri Make a Porno, a new Kevin Smith movie which was hilarious although I don't know if it is quite worth the money. But it is graphic, that's for sure, if that's what you're looking for.

Then we went to Jackie's house and Rock Band-ed it until 4 AM (and reminisced about how much we miss you, Lilian!).

P.S. New Year's Eve Squared is officially cancelled. Sorry folks.

After class, the night before when I should have been studying I went out to Molly's instead and drank and watched Barack Obama become President.

Yesterday I had classes all day so the best time for me to cram would be after 10pm. Shannon came to distract me during our "break times" for Family Feud, but he chickened out and went home at 4AM. I ended up studying all night at the computer lab with this dude named Julian who was in my class last term.

We went straight to the exam. No sleep, same clothes, didn't even go home - yeaah that's how we roll at Laurier. And this morning we all killed the exam.

Say goodbye to my brother's Celica once and for all, and hello to Mazda 3.

From Mercedes's 3rd Birthday
The family went out for a birthday dinner at the Grand Cuisine Chinese Restaurant at the Doubletree Hotel. It was pretty fancy schmancy.

Hello Birthday girl!

Balloons are fun. But when my mom gave her a Dora bike, she went straight for the bike instead.

Happy Birthday! I wonder if kids can really appreciate Tiramisu?

From Mercedes's 3rd Birthday
The whole family came out to celebrate.

I am so jealous of kids who get to go out Trick-or-Treating. Not for the costumes... the free candy. Sure, we have tons left over since kids don't go Trick-or-Treating anymore and my mom likes to stock up. But she always gets the Allen's lollipops, the tootsie rolls and caramel squares. Where are the Nerds? The Wunderbars? The "cool" candy?

I was so pumped to give out candy to little kiddies but by the end of the night, I realized that I don't like kids. I praised a kid for their scary costume, and some other kid got jealous and started bitching at me. One kid went up to me and said, "SUCK MY CANDY!" Highschool punks are reaping free candy even when they're past their prime. Half the kids aren't even dressing up anymore, unless their Baby Phat gangster get-ups are considered a costume but I really don't think so. Parents are now driving their kids around the neighbourhood. What happened to the spirit of Halloween pre-Anthrax scare, the one I remember when roaming the streets of my Jane & Finch neighbourhood?

Highlight:
This kid is walking around with a plastic knife stuck in a cereal box.
Me: "Why do you have a knife stuck in a cereal box?"
Kid: "Because I'm a... CEREAL KILLER."
