But I am sick and its made the past couple of days sucky.

This has been a very relaxing two week vacation. I spent a lot of time with my family and friends and I guess going back to school for the summer won't be all that bad. I kind of miss it (and now I can't imagine life without Waterloo to fall back on). These are my highlights, so far:
  • Went out for beer/wings with Howard, and the waitress girl asked me questions about Laurier for a while before even getting served. I kept having to pause and say, "Sorry, Howard"
  • My baby friends abso-freakin-lutely LOVE "Auntie Me-lon." I don't know what it is, but Mercedes DIDN'T want to go home because she wanted to play with me. She got so sad because her parents wouldn't let her stay! If they didn't drag her, she would've had her first overnight stay away from home
  • Working out and swimming days with Priscilla = FUN. Oh, the hot tub............. how we love it. Oh, and also church - being introduced to my new favourite pastor, Pastor Greg! I also can't wait to go to J&F this Sunday
  • Getting drunk on two glasses of wine and throwing up in my friend's car = not a pretty sight = SORRY FRIEND. I am severely restricting myself from overdrinking (the first step is admitting you have a problem)!!!
  • Party in Toronto @ Vitor's. Fun fun fun, and also sad because Seth is leaving to Chicago
  • Bombarding V-bear at work and hugging her lesbianingly in front of all her managers. We had lunch and major FUN FUN shopping day after work!
  • Leaving Richard's house about to leave to catch a movie when my car doesn't start up. Richard has to DRIVE to my house (with me, Vanessa and Dennis also in the car. P.S. DENNIS IS BACK!!!) and PICK UP my DAD and drive him back to his place where our car is... to fix it. Talk about one of the most awkward moments of my life
  • Tania, aka. Ms. Rich treated me and Andrew to bubbletea at the new BR! The old BR totally trumps the new one. I came home and went to bed that night, got the chills and got a high degree fever and couldn't sleep a wink until like 6am. Been sick ever since
So yeah, I am 100x better except I think I'm catching a common cold now which sucks ass. Just when weather is starting to get nice again.  Four days left until school...

Happy be-St. Patty's Day, friends. I hope yours went well because I barely remember mine. Just kidding of course. But seriously, I got kicked out of The Spur because I drank a little more than I could tolerate at the moment, and I puked in the bathroom sink. I use the term "kicked out" very loosely, because the girl was very polite and I sincerely obliged, even though I didn't really know what was happening. I even asked Justin, "Why are we leaving?" and he lied to me and said it was because we finished all the food and beer and I believed him. I didn't know, so for that, I am sorry.

It was a pretty alright night, I think - Lilian was happy. She said I was "hilarious" last night, so as long as I didn't inadvertenly offend anyone, it was all in good fun. I enjoyed the walk home the best, I think. Cyrus was kind enough to take an incriminating video of my incessant drunken ramblings. It would've been better if certain events played out better so that Ira, Jacey, Jackie and James could've got in when we did but it was all okay in the end, I think. No green beer though, but massive hangover yes =(

i don't think very highly of myself. so when someone tries to get in contact with me, the first thing that comes to mind is not, "oh no, he's stalking me." i mean, come on.

so when i feel uncomfortable with someone, with good reason, i have the right to not get myself involved in that inevitably sticky situation. but instead of childishly running away from the issue, i faced it head on and made it clear that i was uncomfortable, why i was uncomfortable, the fact that there are no issues, and then i raised a white flag in the air and went on my own way.

i am done.

so why am i still being sent unnecessary messages that effectively act as threats, telling me to stay away and not remain in contact anymore? i am sorry, i did not even realize that i was the one trying to keep in contact, i thought i was doing the very OPPOSITE of that by severing things in a clear, honest, and up front manner. and i say they are unnecessary messages because contrary to popular belief, THERE ARE NO ISSUES and i DO NOT want to interfere with the lives of married people.

so i find myself being pulled in the very sticky mess which i was trying to avoid in the first place. maybe i should've just gone for the cowardly route and opted for ignoring the person until they gave up and gone away.

i was driving home from waterloo last night at 130km. i was in the fast lane and there was a black car in the middle lane going as fast as me switching in and out of lanes. i wanted to pass him so i sped up to 140 and just as i passed him, he drove behind me and the police lights came on and that's my life for you

as you all know, i personally am not insured. so you can probably understand how much i was pissing in my pants

the guy comes out and tells me i was driving at 120 km, 20 over the speed limit in rainy weather. he asks me why and i say in a very ashamed-of-myself way: "Just trying to get home." he asks for my license and insurance so i scramble quickly for the insurance and fortunately i found it without knowing i even gave him the right thing. he took it to examine and then i called my dad and told him what happened and how freaked out i was and i asked him if i even gave the police the right thing.

the guy came back and told me that he would charge me $120 and give me 3 demerit points for going over 20, and i was so scared because i thought i wouldn't be able to get my G license. he said he was going to fine for me going over 10 instead and fine me $40 with no demerit points. he didn't even say anything about the insurance. HOLY RELIEF!

afterwards, i drove slower than a turtle and got home and burst out into tears and told my parents everything that happened. i told them how freaked out i was because i didn't have insurance. i am seriously shaken up and i have a 40 dollar fine to show for it.
