I have to say that I'm a very lucky gal to have met my husband. Not only is he a fantastic husband, he is an even better dad. He jokes that he has to take care of two babies in the house and he really does.
When I was pregnant, I was nauseous, sore, achy and just tired and cranky all the time, and he took care of me and took over many of the household duties. He does so much for the house, all the garbage and recycling (including his least favourite, the kitty litter), mowing and watering the lawn, shovelling snow, vaccuming, putting away the dishes and fixing everything. He always helps me with my chores too. Sure, it takes a little reminder and some guidance, but then he jumps on it right away and gets it done.
With the baby, the minute he comes home, he plays with her and takes care of her. He works from home on Wednesdays but he's really helping me taken care of the baby while I run off to my various appointments (shopping). He takes the entire night shift just to let me sleep well. He takes care of me when I'm sick or I'm sore or I'm bleeding or whatever ailment I have at the time. The best thing is that he does all of this without complaints.
I realize not every husband is like this and boy are we lucky to have someone who takes care of his girls. Love this man.

i need to scream, but what's the point when there's no one there to hear you? i hate everything about this. i just want it to be good but even when i try, it's not good. i need someone to be there for me, to show me that they care about me but to just be there. after trying again and again, nothing changes and nothing improves and a part of me acknowledges that nothing will change. this is why i know i am not staying. good or bad, it just all ends the same. i can't keep crying over a message never returned, a phone call never made, a visit never paid, a date that has never been planned, feelings that have never been shared, a secret never revealed. you don't have a secret anymore to hide. this is the last night i cry for you.
