I've been out of the office on review for the past two weeks. One week was at NDHQ and the other was with the 412 Squadron beside the airport. My colleagues were teasing me all the time because I wouldn't stop talking about how good looking and young all the pilots were. I think I fell in love with one of the airplane cooks when he offered us the best tasting carrot muffin I have ever had. The airplanes looked so cool. My boss is working on bringing me back there to shadow one of the Financial Officers for a couple of days and to get a tour of the airplanes. Hopefully they will let me on the blue plane - the one for the Prime Minister and foreign dignitaries!

This month, my social life has become quiet and a bit lonely. Luckily things have been picking up a little. I went to sushi last week with people I met on my trip to Petawawa, and we are planning a shopping trip to Syracuse. Jess came to town to visit her sister, so we had tapas at Sidedoor - my second time there. She came over and played with Melo and we watched Bridesmaids.

Most of the days, I spend my time cooking at home and lounging around with my cat watching new shows. I've been thinking lately about my future and where I see myself establishing my home and my future family. I would not mind staying in Ottawa if I met the right person here. I would move out west to Kanata and work my 30 years in the public service to get full pension and retire happily at 55. There is so much potential for career advancement as a FORD in Ottawa, especially with all of the babyboomers retiring in the next 2 or 3 years. However, I miss the GTA so much and ideally, I would like to be near my parents and my friends. If I do move back home, I might not be with the public service muchless DND so I would have to start from the bottom again. Everything right now is a big question mark, but I do have two full years of my program and one more year of CMA to finish so I do have time to figure it out. Nevertheless, I am happy where I am and happy to go wherever He may lead me.

i want to take this moment, to thank you Lord.

there are many things that are huge stressors on my life right now. slowly, little by little, these stressors are being lifted away from me. all i have to do is listen to you and be patient. Lord, you will never give me something i cannot handle.

went to hamilton plant yesterday for 2013 LRP meeting with BDs from all the plants. they gave us huge bags of candy! workers at the plant were clearly hard at work yesterday (see below).

Germany VS Italy
kraft weekly spoils.
ritz crackerfuls, jell-o dulce leche, bbq cooking class, maynards candies

blahh
despondent, introverted, disgruntled is me.
i have no more positivity or cheerfulness to give - work drains that from you

dont feel healthy, only tense and stressed out without really knowing why
it all comes tumbling down, tumbling down, tumbling down...

I don't want to complain about work anymore, I just want something to happen to change the situation. Like, the dealership burning down over night.

My body aches. I think I'm going to take advantage of this WLU Health Plan scam and go to a chiropractor or get a Swedish massage or something. It's about time I started taking care of myself.
