I know you can't see it, but this is the pivotal moment that will go in the books: the day I got my very first car. Also, the dealership was barbecuing up some hotdogs and hamburgers and I couldn't help myself. Hot dogs are pretty pivotal too.

I really lucked out on this car. I really did. I got a good deal on it and insurance too without going through a lot of pain. Plus, I got superior service from my friends over at Meadowvale Honda. The salesman told me his manager knew I had experience at Mississauga Honda and they asked me to come work for them. What? Free employment with my car? You can't beat that service.

The best thing is, my parents like it. My dad approves of the engine and there's no small minor thing about it that will annoy my mom to the point of her bringing it up over and over for the rest of our lives (like a Viet mom would do).

Although this is not the red car I dreamt of having, I am happy with my Korean car - gotta be loyal to my Korean peeps. Annyeong yo!

When you attain for something, do not attain for something you can never have. Do not attain for happiness, because happiness is fleeting. You cannot know what happiness is without experiencing sadness. Do not attain for riches. When is "enough" ever enough? Do you not always long for more and does this longing ever truly end? Do not attain for the approval of others. You will forever be in bondage to people and for what?

When you go to God, he gives you life that is everlasting. Attain for love, the love of God is something you are given unconditionally ever since you were created. He will not give you happiness, he will give you joy and you can be full of joy for the rest of your life. He will give you all the riches of the world, something so much more than money: life. Jesus was a guy who did not sin once but gave up his life and endured torture and persecution for what? So that we could live. We were ALL given that gift. No matter young, old, straight, gay, black or white. He loved us all and although we deserve none of it, he saved us from death. But he's not going to hold up a gun and force us to obey him. He gave us the choice and you can choose the secular things in life that will surely fade, or you can choose life, that lasts forever.

hi friends and lovers,

i know i have not spent a lot of time with friends lately, but it's been crazy busy. life has been tremendously good to me. i am excited for summer and can't wait to live it up for the next couple of months and be outdoors.

i had a first taste of summer yesterday at Wonderland with my brother & coworkers. so fun! we went on Leviathan 3x and made the mistake of going on this ride first (every other ride was dull in comparison.) this is a picture when the ride malfunctioned:

this allowed us to wait in line for only 10 minutes

at work, the Ops team went to Rinx to player lasertag which was so much more fun than i remembered. when we came back the next day, our whole department was TPed.

kind of ironic because it was earth week

to date, no one has confessed but our director is seeking revenge.

on the weekends, i've been helping out at the new condo sales site. the people are so fun and i honestly miss having a job where i get to sit around and do nothing all day.

this has been a great chapter in my life coming home and trying to get my career and life back together, post Korea fantasy dream world. but i am not ready to settle down just yet ;)
