every term there's SIFE Bookswap (formerly Ace) and i'd say it's the best way to sell all your used crap because students will buy anything.
on the first day of classes, the professors always tell you whether or not you should buy the required textbook new or used. for all the books that you can buy used, we all wait for the day of the bookswap to make our purchase. this is because they keep changing damn editions, so if we have the opportunity to buy used, chances are, we most likely will.
in this case, that used book is for organizational behaviour II.
the problem is, all third year BBA students have early morning classes from 8:30 to 11:30am, while bookswap opens at 9AM. if you're really desperate, you skip the class. if not, right when class finishes, all the business students come rushing to SIFE to get that one OB textbook.
since mike isn't in BBA, me and kevin got him to get it for us. because of mike, i got a $120 textbook and $50 casebook retail for $35. i'm pretty ecstastic. when me and shannon went after class, the cheapest textbook was $115 and that didn't even come with the casebook but he had to buy it anyway. i just wrote this blog entry to brag. hahaha
