Some idiot told me that we could do whatever we want (if it was realistic.) I questioned it but that idiot is living proof that we could do it, as long as we:
#1. have the MOTIVATION to do it
#2. establish reasonable GOALS for ourselves
#3. ACHIEVE them
I asked, "What if something gets in the way?"
The answer is: they won't if you don't let them.
I've always had dreams but I've always let things get in the way of me achieving them. This is how people stray. They lament about their pathetic lives, over how they can't control the bad things that happen to them, or they simply hide from their failures and refuse to confront them... but all of these people have ONE thing in common:
they don't do anything about it.
And as one of my favourite quote goes, "Those who fail to learn from the past are doomed to repeat it."
There's ALWAYS something you can do. Some options take more risks than others. I took the risk to go to Korea and from it, I got to experience the beauties of the world, people, life.
I've made a lot of career damaging mistakes, all starting from high school up to the end of University. I can keep crying about not getting into Schulich, or how I did not make Co-op, but it won't do diddly squat. I can't hide anymore, or else I will be living my mistakes for the rest of my life. I am done putting my dreams on the back burner... this is MY TIME and I will have control over my own future.

I've seen and experienced many beautiful things in the world... but so what? Keep moving on. Never stop exploring (right, Steph?)
